Mommy has been job searching aggressively since December and also trying to speed up the healing process on the knee. Things have been slow moving in both departments. Daddy has been climbing out of a business slump and diving back into a business boom. Things could be worse considering he is carrying the heavy load of being our sole provider! Riley is out of school for February Break this week and loving every minute of it. Gianna is back in preschool this week and loving every minute of it. We have been experiencing a mixture of ups, downs, and unpredictable moments. One thing has remained constant = we simply love each other to the core.
One of the best quotes this month came from Riley. One afternoon, I took a moment to enjoy him being very lovable to me, cuddling and snuggling. I told him that he was the luckiest boy on Earth. His response:
"I know, Mommy. I know I'm lucky because I'm wearing my lucky underwear."
