It is officially TOO HOT! This heat wave is ferocious and giving me flashbacks of when I was pregnant with Riley! Yesterday was just over 100 degrees and today is 98. Thank heavens our air conditioner is working. :)
Chris and I finally setup Riley's giraffe swimming pool in the backyard once again, and he is beyond thrilled. Riley insisted that he fill up the pool himself, so naturally he had control of the hose in no time. I think he spent about a few hours in the water yesterday and loved every minute. He woke up this morning and went straight for the sliding glass door that leads to the backyard and yelled "side side side side side side!" We think he was telling us to let him "outside" to play in the water again! We will be sure to leave the pool setup for the remainder of the summer. We might even setup the few other pools he has and create our own little water park. :)
